By BriefNEW ORLEANS — The Louisiana Supreme Court suspended Judge Sheva Sims without pay for nine months for acting in an impatient and condescending manner towards a litigant, misusing a court-owned vehicle, improperly advocating for a party during an eviction proceeding and engaging in a pattern of failing to follow the law.
